Blog: ’15 DE recruit Rivers flips to UGA

Chauncey Rivers was committed to South Carolina – was being the operative word.

He is now committed to Georgia, according to a text he sent out and his high school coach.

“I am a Dawg!” Rivers texted.

The four-star defensive end from Stephenson High is considered the No. 25 defensive end in the country by Scout.com and had been committed to the Gamecocks since last July.

Rivers makes Georgia’s fourth commitment of the 2015 class – four of the five commits are considered four-star recruits of better.
